Leeds Nightline is a confidential listening and information service for students over 16 in Leeds.

Our service is confidential, anonymous, non-directive, non-advisory and non-judgemental.


We are a student society based at Leeds University Union, affiliated with:

  • University of Leeds
  • Leeds Beckett
  • Leeds Trinity
  • Leeds Arts University
  • Leeds College of Music
  • Northern School of Contemporary Dance
  • The University of Law
  • Backstage Academy

Students from any of these organisations are eligible to become volunteers.

Our Instant Messaging (IM) and Email service is now open from 8pm until 2am every night including weekends and holidays.

Our Phone line returns on Monday 27th September, and will be running from 8pm to 8am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
